Junior Shooting Sports

The American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program is a gun safety education and marksmanship program that encompasses the basic elements of safety, education, enjoyment, and competition. Shooters range in age from 11 - 17 years.

Post 280 supports a robust Junior Shooting team. We currently have 14 active shooters with 3 shooting at the Precision Level. Most have at least achieved their NRA Marksmanship medal with numerous at the Sharpshooter and Expert level. If interested, please reach out to americanlegionpost280va@gmail.com
